Acadia National Park Looking to Move Headquarters
MT. DESERT - Acadia National Park is looking to move its headquarters to better serve the hundreds of thousands of visitors who travel there every year.
The money for new buildings would come from the federal government. But as of now, there aren't any plans for the park to receive funds. Acadia officials say they want to have plans ready to go so they can seize any opportunity as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Among some of the options are moving the headquarters to the current visitors center located at Hull's Cove.
