AUGUSTA - If you've always wondered what happens at government meetings at the state level, now you will be able to tune in from the comfort of your own home.
Maine Public Broadcasting Network will be providing live coverage of the legislative, judicial, and executive branches in Augusta. The Maine Capitol Connection will launch Tuesday at 10 a.m. as part of the six-month long pilot program.
Based on viewer response with feedback, MPBN may band with other cable systems throughout the state to broadcast the meetings. The live streaming is also currently available online on the MPBN website.
