Tobogganers Race the Camden Chutes in 23rd Annual National Event

Camden - This weekend, hundreds of tailgating and costume wearing "athletes" from around the globe with gather in Camden for the 2013 National Toboggan Championships.

The all ages event, held at the Camden Snow Bowl each year, kicks of tomorrow and runs through the weekend with races and activities all day Saturday and Sunday.

For the most part, teams come dressed in wacky costumes and come up with clever names. There is a fee to register, and in years past the proceeds are used to cover 10% of the Snow Bowl's operating costs.

The event is sold out this year, but spectators are still welcome to come and enjoy the fun.
