State Police Office Moving to Bangor

BANGOR - Troop E of the Maine State Police will be in a new building in Bangor this year, possibly as early as spring.

The Bangor City Council authorized a lease of the former FAA flight service building near Bangor International Airport last night, giving the Department of Public Safety a new home for Troop E.

The lease will run for ten years, with options for two additional five-year extensions.

The lease will cost the state 111-thousand dollars the first five years.
