Two Dead in Aroostook County Fire

Two are dead from an early morning fire in the northern town of Easton.

The bodies were discovered in a dwelling on the Richardson Road in Easton, which is about five miles east of Presque Isle.

The fire was reported just before 5 a.m.

Authorities have identified the victims as Mark and Paul Beaton who are both believed to have been in their fifties.

Eight other people escaped and the home was full involved in flames when fire crews arrived.

Investigators spent the day on the scene trying to find the cause.
