Local Woman Opens One of a Kind Business in Bangor

BANGOR - While the recession hit many people hard throughout the country, it gave one woman an opportunity to simply start something new. Now her entire life has now changed all before her eyes.
Eyelash extension. May sound odd, but in fact its a trend catching on in big cities around the country.
Now Shawna Wheeler has opened her own business, but to her its more than a passion for beauty... its about supporting her family.
So in October she started to take classes on this fashion fad and after being certified, opened up her own business right here in Bangor.
Wheeler hopes this business will show her own son that if you put your mind to something you can accomplish anything, all in the blink of an eye.
