LePage, Manufacturers Launching Jobs Campaign
Governor Paul LePage and the Manufacturers Association of Maine are launching a jobs campaign today.
It's aimed at educating students, parents and the public about career opportunities in Maine's manufacturing industry.
More than 51-thousand Mainers work in manufacturing and the association says that number would be higher if there were more trained workers.
The campaign was developed by the Manufacturers Association, the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development and the governor's office.
