Lawmakers consider changing the name of a Maine mountain
A state lawmaker has submitted a bill aimed at honoring an indian chief.
Big squa mountain near Greenville was renamed Big Moose mountain as part of an effort to rename places that native americans felt were offensive.
Representative Peter Johnson wants to take it a step further by changing the name of Big Moose mountain to Red eagle mountain.
The Maine house was expected to consider the issue today.
