Owls Head Lighthouse Keeper's House Opening To Public

Owls Head - People will soon get a closer look at a popular Maine tourist attraction.
The keeper's house at the historic Owls Head Lighthouse will be open to the public this spring.  The American Lighthouse Foundation and the Coast Guard have worked out an agreement for the foundation to maintain the keeper's house and open it for public viewing and education about the nearly 200-year-old lighthouse.  Lighthouse Foundation executive director Bob Tapani says the goal is to have the keeper's house open to the public by April.
