Hermon Student's Film Nominated for Award

Bangor - A short film, written and directed by a Hermon High School student last year...is now being nominated for an award at a film festival in Southern Maine.
The film, The Road Back, addresses the stigma associated with teen anxiety and depression.  Produced by Acadia Hospital, and written and directed by Faith Bishop...it has been chosen as one of six movies being considered for the category of "Best Student Film" at the 2013 Lewiston-Auburn Film Festival.

The film, which involved the efforts of nearly 100 teens around the state, was distributed free of charge to over 100 middle and high schools in Maine.  The festival is set to be held in April.
