Bangor - If you haven't gotten your flu shot this season, you may want to think about doing so...as state health officials are reporting that outbreaks have quadrupled.
There have a total of 125 recorded cases of the flu in Maine so far this season...about four times the normal number. And health officials say another surge could be coming in the next few weeks...a good reason for those who have been vaccinated to looking into doing so.
And this illness is not to be takely lightly. There have been at least 20 deaths across the country related to the virus...among those was a six-year-old girl from Benton, Maine.
