Case Closed in Elm Street Stabbing
Bangor - The investigation into the stabbing death of a man inside of an Elm Street apartment in Bangor is now closed, and the Attorney General's office has decided not to prosecute.

In the early morning hours of December 29th, 34 year old Jeffery Leblanc assaulted a resident of 80 Elm Street, causing multiple injuries to his face. That unidentified resident then stabbed Leblanc once in the side of the abdomen, in what the AG's office is calling an incident of self-defense, and defense of premises. Leblanc was transported to Eastern Maine Medical Center and died later that day from his injuries.
