State To Repay $186 Million To Hospitals, LePage Says
Governor Paul LePage is announcing a plan to pay 186-million dollars the state owes Maine's hospitals.
He'll make the announcement today.
The money would cover MaineCare bills that have gone unpaid since 2009, a year before LePage was elected.
The state's payment will unlock nearly 300-million dollars in federal matching funds.
