Labor Mural Going Back On Public Display

AUGUSTA - Maine's labor history mural is going back on display, after being hidden away for two years.

Governor Paul LePage ordered the mural taken down from the State Labor Department offices.

The governor said the mural gave a one-sided view of Maine's history.

The LePage administration says the mural will go back on display today in the atrium of the Cultural Building, which is the entryway to the Maine State Museum.
