AUGUSTA - It was all about the road racers and the speed demons this weekend at the 25th Annual Northeast Motorsports Expo and Trade Show in Augusta.
Fans raced to the Civic Center this weekend, to check out this year's hot motorsports items.
"It's a chance to look at the cars before the season," says Nate Littlefield a participant in one of the expo's challenges.
A fan favorite- the pit stop challenge, where rookies and veterans can step inside the pit for a little friendly competition.
The champions- Travis Benjamin, taking home 300 dollars cash, a trophy, and 2013 champion plaques.
And for the history enthusiasts- climb aboard the mobile museum, where you'll find vintage industry keepsakes for every raceway.
If you missed this weekend's event, but still have a need for speed, next month Portland will host its Racing Preview Show the weekend of February 22nd.
