Bangor Man Lies to Police about Being the Victim of Assault

Bangor - A Bangor man tried to fool police into thinking that he was the victim of an assault yesterday, when really he was the aggressor.
Just before 1:00 pm Wednesday, officers were alerted to a disturbance in the area of Acadia Place and Moosehead Blvd. The initial call came from 29 year old Christopher Stone of Bangor. Stone told 911 dispatchers that he was attacked by two men and a woman at a home on Acadia Place, and that the three had knives and brass knuckles. But he had no defensive wounds. Officers determined that Stone was actually the aggressor, and had assaulted a female about the upper torso and head with a field hockey stick. He also violated an order of protection by entering the apartment of his ex-girlfriend. Stone was arrested and transported to the Penobscot County Jail. He faces a bail hearing tomorrow at 1:00 pm.
