Nokomis' Passion for High School Hoops

Media

NOKOMIS -  If there's one place in the state that knows a thing or two about home court advantage, it's Nokomis, home of the Warriors.

Warrior fans young and old are known for their commitment to high school basketball. Some are so dedicated that they ride snowmobiles to the games in inclement weather. It all makes for an electric atmosphere.

Athletic Director Earl Anderson has been a coach for over 20 years, and says there's no place quite like Nokomis.

And the athletes agree. The girls have used their home crowd to propel them to a yet-undefeated season. And the boys, although they've had their struggles recently, say they always try to put on their best show for the people that come to support them night in, and night out.
