MDEA and Auburn Police Arrest Three in Connection with Cocaine Trafficking

AUBURN - Three people are facing drug charges after they were caught bringing over $7,000.00 worth of cocaine to Maine.
 
Early Wednesday morning, Maine Drug Enforcement Agents (MDEA) and Auburn police arrested 27 year-old Amanda Beth Rodriguez of auburn, Margoliz Julie Velazquez of Hartford, Connecticut, and 39 year-old Markevin Faucette of Lewiston.
 
Police stopped and searched their car after they exited the Maine Turnpike in Auburn.
Authorities say they were returning from Connecticut and were planning to sell the drugs in the Lewiston-Auburn area.
 
They are all being held at the Androscoggin County Jail on $75,000.00 bail each.
 
They're expected to appear in an Auburn courtroom, Friday.
