Korean War Veterans Honored on Armed Forces Day

BANGOR - Several veterans were honored today at the Bangor International Airport as part of Armed Forces Day.

The Maine Troop Greeters held their annual open house, celebrating their 11th anniversary this afternoon.

The group makes it their mission to welcome service men and women home and thank them for all they do for the country.

Today, over 60 Korean War veterans finally got the welcome home they never received.

The Armed Forces were honored in a special ceremony with Maine's First Lady Ann LePage and Brigadier General Gerry Bolduc from the Maine Air National Guard.
