FRANKFORT - If you're looking to impress your mother with a flower that will continue to bloom, you may want to head out to a local plant sale benefiting a community's fire department.
Pansies, Petunias, Geraniums, and Martha Washington's are just a few of the flowers being sold to improve the Frankfort Village Volunteer Fire Department.
Secretary and Treasurer, Sandra Anderson says the community has been saving up for the addition for quite some time, which includes a meeting room and bathroom. They've received support from the town, and hold their plant sale, every year.
She says they've been able to put on vinyl siding and a metal roof, but what remains to be added is crucial.
That sale will continue to run tomorrow from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
