CAMBRIDGE - Two men are facing charges after reportedly invading a Cambridge home early Sunday morning.
Officials say Ryan Spaulding, 24, of Waterville, and Joshua Chase, 28, of Detriot, entered the Ripley Road home through an unlocked door, reportedly assaulted a woman who lives there, stole prescription medications, and then fled the area in a vehicle driven by a female.
Around 1:30, Dexter police stopped the car while conducting an OUI roadblock in Corinna.
There police learned the three were on probation, the female driver for drug possession, Spaulding for robbery, and Chase for domestic assault.
Probation holds were placed on all three while the two men were charged with assault.
The female victim was transferred to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
A search warrant on the car turned up pills, and drug paraphernalia.
Additional charges are expected in connection with the home invasion which remains under investigation.
