Q 106.5 Begins Egg Run Fundraising

Bangor - Radio station Q 106.5 has begun taking donations for its annual Pine Tree Camp fundraiser, and this year's 40th anniversary event is sure to the the most egg-citing one yet.
The donation pool for the February 2nd fundraiser is open, and until then, each $50 raised will put another raw egg in the snowsuit of radio host JR Mitchell, or another participant, who will then ride snowmobiles from Levant, to Newport. In its last 40 years, the fundraiser has raised $3.9 million, and this year, organizers hope they make it to 4. All the money raised goes to help children with disabilities attend the Pine Tree Camp. Ro make a donation you can call (207) 991-9500 or visit WQCB-FM.com.
