Pharmacy Robberies Top 2012 Maine Crime Stats
Pharmacy robberies were the biggest crime in Maine last year.
Statistics for 2012 show there were 56 pharmacy holdups, more than twice as many as in 2011.
Other crimes were fairly stable, with 22 homicides slightly below the ten-year average.
164 people died on the state's highways.
That's up from 2011's 136 deaths, but below the ten-year average.
