Sorority to Host Paint Race

ORONO - A paint race is coming to the University of Maine, all in support of a good cause.

Kappa Delta Phi is hosting "Color Me Kappa" a 5K run to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation.

It will be similar to other paint races, such as The Color Run, where different paints will be sprayed at each kilometer.

The organization says they were inspired by the success of similar events.

"We actually as an organization helped another chapter with one last year and we thought that it would be a super fun thing to have in this area," explains Kasey Watson, the vice president of Kappa Delta Phi NAS.

All ages are encouraged to participate. The event will be held April 5th at UMaine. You can pre-register on active.com.
