Bangor - After investigating, police now know who the driver was in Sunday morning's hit and run accident in Bangor.
19-year-old Carson Stimus was summoned for Misdemeanor Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Operating Without a License. Stimus was the driver in the hit and run crash that happened at the corner of Webster Avenue and Crestmont Road at around 11 a.m. Sunday.
The complainant reported being struck by a silver or gray Subaru hatchback, which fled the scene immediately. With the help of several phone calls from concerned citizens, as well as a piece of the vehicle left at the scene, police were able to solve the case.
