Bangor - Police are still looking for a missing Ellsworth man, despite the fact that he was involved in a high speed chase in Bangor yesterday afternoon.
Police say 28-year-old Jonathan Spinney was the driver of the car in a dangerous chase that started at around 1 p.m. on Friday. Several agencies tried to stop the blue Pontiac as it raced out Broadway, and police even deployed spike strips by the car kept going.
Authorities broke off the chase because they were worried it would cause an accident. The car was later found on Downeast Circle in Bangor's Capehart neighborhood. Spinney was last seen on the morning of Christmas Eve on Broadway in Bangor.
