Bath Salts Use Up In Aroostook County, MDEA Says
Aroostook County - Aroostook County is seeing an increase in the synthetic drugs known as bath salts, according to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
MDEA's Darrell Carndall says agents have seized bath salts with a street value of more than 100-thousand dollars in the past few months, and charged nine people with trafficking or possessing the drug. Bath salts can be smoked, snorted, swallowed, or injected, and they cause users to act unpredictably.
