PETERBOROUGH, NH - Firefighters from a dozen towns responding to an explosion at a manufacturing plant in New Hampshire.
The explosion took place at New Hampshire ball bearings in Peterborough.
The company makes high-tech parts for the aerospace industry.
A town official says there are reports of eight to ten injured people.
Local hospitals have been asked to prepare for patients who may have been exposed to hazardous materials.
A decontamination site has been set up and local haz-mat teams are responding to the scene.
New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan says the state emergency operations center is opening.
