Portland Prepares For Same-Sex Marriage Rush

PORTLAND -  Portland city officials are preparing for as many as 100 same-sex couples coming to City Hall for marriage licenses, and maybe to get married before dawn Saturday. 
 
The city clerk's office will start passing out marriage license forms at a minute after midnight tomorrow. 
 
Falmouth city offices will also open at a minute after midnight, while the Bangor city clerk's office will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. tomorrow, and city offices in Augusta and Brunswick will open at 9 a.m.

He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington where he received his B.A. in Journalism. Clay has worked at Fox National News in New York, WTIU in Indianapolis and the Big Ten Network.

In his free time, Clay is a firefighter for the Holden Fire/Rescue Department in Holden and is an avid hockey fan.
