Glenburn - Students at the Glenburn School got into the holiday spirit before their holiday break kicked off... but this wasn't just a Christmas concert. Kids had the chance to tell stories, exhbit some of their talents, and keep an age-old tradition alive.
The morning was geared toward the younger crowd, with students in Pre-K through fifth grade, performing in, and enjoying the show. For those rounding out their final year in this Christmas spectacular, it's all about passing on the tradition.
Students schoolwide also spent the past week getting in to the holiday spirit by helping others, collecting non-perishable items for area residents in need.
Those who contributed to the drive earned prizes for their efforts, but the real gift, was extending a local tradition of helping others.
