BREWER - A group of local high school thespians have proven their talents, receiving acceptance into the world's largest arts festival.

Young actors and actresses from the Brewer High School Youth Theatre have been offered the opportunity of a lifetime.

The group has been accepted at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world's largest arts festival. There, they will have a chance to tour both England and Scotland for two weeks and perform four times.

Drama Director at Brewer High School Rich Kimball says the only catch is now they have to raise upwards of $120,000 for August 2015, goal that hasn't been realistic until this year.

The drama club will begin planning their fundraising efforts when they return from school break. They'll try to determine exactly how much money is needed to take as many students as possible.
