Woman Completes Ending Hunger Walking Tour

BANGOR - Mainers may be less hungry this winter, thanks to one Old Town woman's month-long efforts.

Brenda Davis of CrossRoads Ministries took the final steps of her 12th annual Ending Hunger Walking Tour at the Bangor Federal Credit Union this morning.

In celebration of her journey's culmination, family members and representatives from credit unions around the state greeted her at the finish line, with a surprise food chain, to congratulate her on another successful trek. Which involved nearly walking 750 miles.

In total, Maine Credit Unions helped Brenda raise nearly $30,000 to help end hunger.
