BANGOR - The holiday spirit is taking shape in downtown Bangor, as a symbol of the season made it's debut this morning.
Crews worked to set up the city's annual holiday tree in West Market Square earlier today.
The 36-foot tall balsam fir was donated to Sprague's Nursery by a land owner here in Bangor.
Officials say this is one of the biggest trees the city has ever displayed.
The tree will be lit up following the annual holiday light parade on Saturday.
