Humane Society Hopes for Many Holiday Adoptions

BANGOR - You may have heard passing reference to this Tuesday as "Giving Tuesday," a chance to give back to the community. But one organization is asking for help all month long.

The Bangor Humane Society is hoping Eastern Mainers will open their homes and their hearts this holiday season to a new furry friend.

In doing so, the shelter is running a "Home for the Holidays" promotion in the month of December, where all adult cats are just $5.00 and dogs range in price from $25.00 to $50.00

The Humane Society will also have a giving tree in the lobby, for those who wish to donate items and supplies for use at the shelter.
