BANGOR - If you want to open a small business it can be confusing where to start, that's where the small business administration jumps in.
On Monday, the SBA along with the Eastern Maine Development Corporation held a luncheon to celebrate small businesses in the area.
The focus was how to help entrepreneurs and any small business get on their feet.
They discussed marketing, loan assistance, and other techniques that will not only help open the doors but keep a business successful.
"Maine entrepreneurs have great ideas, but they need some help with marketing. They might need some help with getting a bigger customer base, or even getting that loan expand into a new location. We're here to help them," says Seth Goodall, New England Regional Administrator for the SBA.
