BANGOR - An Orrington woman accused of operating under the influence at the time of a fatal crash, appeared in court today.
33-year-old Sarah Courtney was arraigned at the Penobscot Judicial Center this afternoon.
Courtney pleaded not guilty to charges of manslaughter and aggravated criminal OUI.
Police say Courtney was drunk behind the wheel when she lost control of a ford explorer on the Bog Road in Hermon, back in April.
Her passenger, 28-year-old Sarah Eason died after being ejected from the vehicle.
Courtney is being held on $2,000 bail.
She will appear again in court for a dispositional hearing on March 10th.
