BUCKSPORT - A new indoor arena for horseback riding, horse boarding, and many other opportunities had it's official ribbon cutting Monday afternoon.
CBC Stables in Bucksport is a recreational and rehabilitative facility that offers riding lessons, clinics, and training for individuals of all abilities or disabilities.
A life-long dream for the minds behind the business, this facility has a strong passion for helping others.
"We don't rush anyone - horses or people. We don't want anyone discriminated against. We just want it to be a place where people want to be and people can be safe and feel good about being here," Carie Murray, operations manager at CBC Stables, says.
"Ideally, it will bring the community together, and that's really our goal," Jordyn Stevens, co-owner of the CBC Stables, says. "Since I was little I always wanted to have a business like this, because my mom grew up in one. So it's just been a life-long dream of mine."
CBC stables is also a member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International.
