Thursday a symposium beginning at 4:30 will feature three lectures by UMaine professors, and the conductor of the Orchester Jakobsplatz Munich.

At 7 p.m., the orchestra will perform works by Mendelssohn, Gideon Klein and other composers.

The lectures are free and open to the public, while tickets for the concert are available online, or at the Collins Center box office.
