UMaine Students Develop Original Video Games

Media

Students in a computer programming class at the University of Maine have spent the last several weeks creating their very own video game. And today, they had the opportunity to showcase their final product to peers, industry professionals, and the public.

When students signed up for Computer Science 125, an introductory programming course at UMaine, many didn't know what they were getting themselves into. Last month, the more than 50 students in the class were divided into teams. The assignment: develop a video game...and the results were impressive.
