AUGUSTA - Governor Paul LePage is urging Mainers to help feed the hungry this month.
LePage has issued a food drive challenge to Maine Chambers of Commerce, encouraging local drives throughout the month of October.
Participating chambers will be entered into a raffle for the chance to host a "business after hours" event at the Blaine House.
The Governor and First Lady request each chamber submit an itemized list of products donated and contact information for the organization receiving the goods.
The First Family is hosting the third annual Blaine House Food Drive three Saturdays this month.
