Domestic Violence Services Merging

BANGOR - Women in need of domestic violence recovery, will now have a broader network of support.

Spruce Run and Womancare announced today that the two centers, serving Penobscot and Piscatiquis counties, are merging.

The new partnership, the Spruce Run-Womancare Alliance will provide easier access to services for domestic abuse victims. Enhancing options for support and safety across the region.

The merge comes with the start of domestic violence awareness month.

A Race to End Abuse will be held this Sunday in Guilford as part of the month of activities.
