Fire Crews Save Old Town Home

OLD TOWN - The quick response of fire crews is credited for saving a home in Old Town Tuesday morning.

 

Around 7:30am, crews from Old Town, Orono, Milford, and Bangor responded to a house fire on Veazie Street.

 

The home is vacant, but crews took precautionary measures to ensure no one was inside.

 

Crews knocked the fire down in a matter of minutes, and damage was contained to the back side of the home. Old Town fire is investigating the cause of the blaze.

When she's not in the newsroom she enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling. She's a Packers Shareholder, a cross fit junkie and she's always looking for the best place to get Mexican food.
