Maine Coalition Wants More Access To Medical Marijuana For Patients

Lawmakers, caregivers and patients are supporting legislation that would give Maine's doctors more freedom in prescribing medical marijuana.
One member of the coalition, Dr. Dustin Sulak, says doctors want to be able to bring medical marijuana to more people, not just those who are severely ill.
Representative Mark Dion will introduce the bill when the legislature convenes next month.
Dion says doctors and patients are the best people to make medical decisions, including whether and when to prescribe medical marijuana.
