Maine Discovery Museum Launches Program for Children with Autism

 

BANGOR - The Maine Discovery Museum in Bangor is featuring a new program for children with autism.

 

“My Day to Play” at the Children's Museum in downtown Bangor gives children who are on the autism spectrum a safe and comfortable environment to explore the exhibits.

 

Children with autism have the opportunity to play with the animals and touch familiar textures.

 

It costs a family under 5 dollars to enter and for a list of dates visit their website.

Clay was hired by WVII/WFVX as a morning anchor for FOX BANGOR's 7AM News Hour and as reporter for the 6,10 & 11 o’clock news in July 2011.

He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington where he received his B.A. in Journalism. Clay has worked at Fox National News in New York, WTIU in Indianapolis and the Big Ten Network.

In his free time, Clay is a firefighter for the Holden Fire/Rescue Department in Holden and is an avid hockey fan.
