Orrington Woman Robbed at Knife Point, Suspects at Large


ORRINGTON - A scary situation for one woman in Orrington last night now has police looking for two armed suspects. Men wearing ski masks broke into a home, robbing the owner at knife point. Our Erin Thomas reports.

A quiet road in Orrington, home to a school and rural Maine living, but the backdrop for an armed robbery Monday night.

The victim, a resident of Center Drive in her 50s, who was home around 7:30, the time of the break in. The suspects, two men wearing ski masks, robbing the woman at knife point.

She was unharmed in the incident and called 911 upon their escape. But police believe this was not the armed suspects only stop. It was two civilians at Bob's Kozy Korner on the Brewer Lake Road who stopped their second attempt.

Now police are looking for a vehicle that may be related to the incident, and possibly other home invasions in the area.
