ORONO - Paying for college is an expensive task, and many students rely on loans to get by. But as our Erin Thomas investigates, many students don't realize exactly how much debt they're taking on.
Thousands of students are entering colleges and universities across the country this fall, eager to continue their education. But many are unclear of the price tag that comes with their coveted degrees.
Posing the question, are students left in the dark about the debt that comes with an education?
But school officials say they're working with students to explore other resources to avoid accruing debt.
