BANGOR - The Brewer police captain charged with drunken driving pleaded guilty in a Bangor courtroom Wednesday.
Police say Chris Martin was stopped after someone reported an erratic driver Saturday night.
This, before a breathalyzer test showed his blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
Martin was not on duty at the time of the offense.
He was placed on administrative leave, and today, he was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, or an alternative sentencing program... which is the option he chose.
He was also ordered to pay a $700 fine, and will lose his license for 90 days.
