RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA -- New numbers out in the race for the Blaine House...
According to fresh data from the left-leaning firm Public Policy Polling, Democrat Mike Michaud is leading the race for governor.
PPP has Michaud at 39 percent -- over Gov. Paul LePage at 35 percent, and Independent Eliot Cutler with 18 percent support.
The governor's position has remained essentially unchanged since PPP's last survey in January.
Meanwhile -- Cutler's support has dropped.
Governor LePage's approval rating also remains stable at 39 percent.
This latest PPP survey was of 953 registered voters, and has a margin of error of +/- 3.2 percent.
