Wal-Mart, Salvation Army, and UMaine Fraternity Team Up for Needy Kids

BANGOR- Hundreds of children in the greater Bangor area will be receiving gifts this Christmas from generous community members.

Wal-Mart and the Salvation Army teamed up earlier today in attempt to "Fill the Truck" with brand new toys and coats for needy children.

The presents will be distributed to more than 500 hundred area youth, from newborns to teens, on December 15th.

A few of the brothers from Alpha Tau Omega fraternity at the University of Maine volunteered handing out flyers to Wal-Mart shoppers, for a cause they also feel worthy about.

If you missed the "Fill the Truck" event you can still drop off a toy or coat at any Salvation Army bucket or help by making a donation.
