Dog Lovers Celebrate Opening of Bangor Park

BANGOR- One local group is  celebrating years of fundraising and planning, that will benefit area-dog lovers and their furry friends.

Located on Watchmaker Street, phase one of the Bangor Dog Park is now complete and open to the public.

The space, which has cost about $20,000, formed in conjunction from the Friends of the Bangor Dog Park and the Bangor Recreation and Parks Department.

Dog-owners are asked to respect the rules of the park, which is open year round, from dusk til dawn.
